# Goodnotes Teams, Admin Console & More

## Find out helpful information related to Goodnotes Teams, how to transition from a License Key and how to get setup with the Admin Console

The Goodnotes experience is now purchased on a per user basis, as opposed to a per device basis.

In order to use the Goodnotes application and the Goodnotes Admin Console, you would either need to sign up via the [Admin Console](https://org-admin.goodnotes.com/) to get started, or if you're on a License Key deployment, you would need to upgrade your setup to Goodnotes Teams.

You can sign up for Goodnotes Teams directly through the [Admin Console](https://org-admin.goodnotes.com/) itself and begin your 30-day free trial. Once your trial period expires, your subscription for Goodnotes Teams will begin.

If you used a Goodnotes License Key *before* the Goodnotes Teams introduction, you will be able to transition from one product to another and be billed accordingly. For your new subscription on the Admin Console:

- If previously using our License Key per device product, you may find that the new per user model means you no longer need as many seats. Be sure to manage this via the [People section](https://go.goodnotes.com/support/adding-users-to-your-organization?hsLang=en).
- If you're looking to upgrade from Goodnotes for Business (License Key) and still have time remaining on your existing subscription, please [contact our sales team](https://go.goodnotes.com/talk-to-sales?hsLang=en) and they gladly assist your transition.
- If you have recently renewed licensing and would like to transfer your existing subscription, we can do so where applicable. Please [contact our sales team for more information.](https://go.goodnotes.com/talk-to-sales?hsLang=en)
