- When can I transition from License Key to Goodnotes Teams?
- You can do so either at the end of your current License Key subscription, or prior to the end. Reach out to our Support Team for more information.
- Do we still need our License Key if we're moving to Goodnotes Teams?
- No, you do not require the License Key to use Goodnotes Teams and once you have completed your transition to Goodnotes Teams, it is advised that you remove it from your managed configuration within your MDM.
- Do we need an MDM to manage Goodnotes Teams?
- No you do not. Though the app can still be distributed and managed via your MDM, it does not require a configuration to deploy it fully - this is now controlled by the Goodnotes Admin Console.
- Do I have to pay for a seat if I am only an Admin of the team?
- All seats on Goodnotes Teams require purchasing, whether Org Admin, Admin or Member - all seats are granted access to the Goodnotes application.
- User shows only freemium after attempting ‘Revert to Non-Institutional version’
- App may not have triggered sign-in flow, steps to resolve may involve deleting and reinstalling the application, or installing/downloading directly from the App Store.
- No Sign-in screen on app launch
- MDM configuration is causing problems here. You may need to remove License Key and/or configuration from MDM profile on application. Once configuration is removed, end-user will need to re-launch or reinstall the app.
Important note: Reinstallation can result in data loss, please be sure that the relevant backups of user data are in place before completing any reinstallation or deletion of the application.
